TPO – In the final round of The Perfect Gentleman 2017 on HTV7, Thuận Nguyễn outperformed his rivals to win the Champion title, with total prizes worth up to 260 million VND.
The grand finale of The Perfect Gentleman 2017 featured a showdown between Phạm Xuân Hùng, Lê Đăng Khánh, Thuận Nguyễn, Luân Nguyễn, and Đào Tín. The judging panel included host Quỳnh Chi, beauty queen Vũ Kim Anh, and Miss World Vietnamese Diễm Hương.
Although initially seen as a strong contender for his maturity, Luân Nguyễn was quickly eliminated in the first challenge, which required contestants to pop balloons by sitting on them and sketch the image of the most important person in their lives.
In the intelligence challenge, while Thuận Nguyễn and Xuân Hùng gave incorrect answers, their reasoning was considered convincing and logical. Meanwhile, Đào Tín and Đăng Khánh answered correctly but with weaker arguments. As a result, Đào Tín was eliminated.
The “Everyday Challenge” then posed an awkward situation: a close friend suffering from infertility asked for help in having a baby with his wife. The three gentlemen gave very different answers, surprising the audience. Xuân Hùng firmly rejected the idea, saying fate must be accepted. Model Lê Đăng Khánh showed empathy and advised the husband to adopt a child, as adopted children can be no different from biological ones if raised with love. Thuận Nguyễn offered a more unconventional solution: he would speak with the family to see if he could be accepted as a “second father” to the child. After this round, Xuân Hùng was eliminated.
The final battle came down to model–actor and 4th runner-up of Man of the World International, Thuận Nguyễn, and Top 7 Vietnam’s Next Top Model contestant Lê Đăng Khánh. Both showed equal strength, but in the end, Thuận Nguyễn emerged victorious.
